Bounce Back

This is a bit odd.  Last year, we featured this chair called the Lastika which was designed by Velichko Velikov for Italian manufacturer LAGO.  The chair has a circular frame across which elastic bands are threaded. Although the chair is called the Lastika, we called the post Bounce! for obvious reasons.

I recently read about a chair which was exhibited at the 2012 Maison&Objet show called Bounce and erroneously thought it was a update of the Lastika.  It isn't.   The Bounce by Fenny Ganatra has a more substantial base, but is essentially the same premise.  The Bounce is being launched with a lot of fanfare and a flashy website which can be seen here.
