These all-white Converse which were launched in September represent one of the more interesting limited edition collaborations entered into by that brand.

Parisian fashion house Maison Martin Margiela have completely white-washed the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star and Jack Purcell lines with the shoes appearing to have been dipped in a vat of white paint.  The matte finish covers the entire shoe including the eyelets, laces and soles.  The paint covering each pair is designed to crack naturally over time to reveal the true colour of the shoe beneath.  The four sub-colours are based upon the heritage colours found in Converse's archives: red, black, navy and - a MMM exclusive - vintage yellow.   The shoes are lined in premium off-white leather.
