In celebration of the tenth anniversary of Kartell’s Bourgie lamp, the Italian plastic furniture specialist invited ten designers associated with the company to create tribute pieces for a special exhibition. Japanese studio Nendo's offering called the Eigruob lamp was created by inverting and rotating the iconic lamp’s silhouette and playing with its transparency. When two of the new lamps are lined up, the negative space between them forms the inverted silhouette of the Bourgie lamp.
