Designer Tsuyoshi Kawara has found the perfect way to reuse discarded roof tiles by mounting them on a wooden frame to create this simple but colourful stool called the Kawara Chair. Although the tiles are made from clay, they are fired at extremely high temperatures and so they can withstand quite a bit of weight - up to 250 pounds.
