It usually takes a day or two into Fashion Week for us to find a collection we like enough to write about, so imagine our surprise when the first one we saw we loved! At Proenza Schouler there was a strong 70s influence through the use of tie dye, fringe, macramé, and knitwear. Texture was key and the palette was rooted firmly in that decade with its browns, mustards and blacks. The décolletage was highlighted through the use of slits or deep Vs, as was the midriff.
