We are off to a very slow start with fashion month this season. We have considered and discounted a number of collections and shows including Jeremy Scott, Elie Tahari and Tomo Koizumi, but nothing caught our attention until this one from Longchamp.

The fairly inoffensive collection in surprisingly autumnal colours featured oversized Longchamp logos on shirts, high-waisted panties worn as shorts and dresses made of suede and leather. The casual pieces included fun and flirty skirts and tops with smocking, balloon sleeves and handkerchief hems - the latter of which we are not overly fond. Models carried handbags of various sizes and styles including ultra mini bags popularised by a certain French designer.
