We much prefer the cleanliness of a reusable glass bottle over an aluminium one, but problems can arise due to the fragile nature of glass as compared to the resilience of of metal. The makers of the Closca bottle have attempted to solve this problem by wrapping their borosilicate glass bottle in a proprietary silicone sleeve.
Their FidLock system consists of a silicone wrap exterior which add to the bottle's versatility as it can be latched to a bike, stroller or bag.

The BPA-free bottle also comes with an infuser for those who want to flavour their water, and offers dual openings which allow easy access for cleaning. The bottle also has its own app that helps you find the nearest refill points effectively torpedoing any and all excuses for not helping to reduce single use plastic waste.
