There is a real move towards clothes that are stylish and comfortable; the modern woman prefers not to be trussed and encumbered and Christian Wijnants has taken her desires to heart.

Shapes were relaxed for Spring. Wijnants showed suits and separates, lightweight knit tops paired with asymmetric, folded leather skirts, two-tone halter dresses, and textured sweater separates. We loved the abstract tile print. The vaguely Afro-inspired pattern was influenced by African-American artist Henry Taylor. The models wore their hair in intricate loops and whorls and carried oversized, unstructured shoulder bags with handles knotted on the shoulder.
