Not high fashion and not womenswear, but we very much liked this collection from Kith which incorporates western elements through the use of a patchwork bandana-print.

Nike

The Nike Waffle One SE is an artful mix of traditional silhouette and modern innovation.

We don’t feature a lot of men’s fashion here but we loved the painterly feel of this collection by Dior men’s Artistic Director Kim Jones for Dior's spring/summer 2021 season.

Rather than removing a metal wedding ring, married couples appear to be opting for rubberised versions instead.
Off-White's Virgil Abloh has put his mark on the tassel loafer, a mens footwear staple since the 1950s.

Relax by StudioDWAS is time made poetry and a simple reminder that moments matter.

Vans

Shoes seem to be really popular way of commemorating the Year of the Pig.  We have two to feature here: up first is this piglet pink, mixed-textured the old school style sneaker from Vans.
Kinfolk x Zespà Sneaker

The fashion sneaker trend shows no sign of abating. Kinfolk have partnered with French brand Zespà to produce this exclusive shoe, the Zespà, Aix-en-Provence. The sneakers are made by hand in France from top quality leather and other materials. They are completely lined in leather and the Kinfolk logo is embossed in gold on the tongue.

The Zespà, Aix-en-Provence comes in beautiful blue box with extra pair of laces and a dust bag.
Adidas Originals x Kvadrat Stan Smiths on Island Atelier

Adidas Originals' Stan Smiths have been riding high on a wave of popularity for a few years and in a bid to maintain this interest they have collaborated with textile manufacturer Kvadrat on a capsule collection of these shoes. Featuring Kvadrat's contemporary plaid patterned fabric and Adidas' trademark trio of stripes in the form of subtle embroidery, the shoes also have a contrast leather heel patch and an all white cap sole. The sneakers are said to embody the city of Copenhagen where the Kvadrat flagship store is located - a place where utilitarian design, Japanese aesthetic and modernist values collide.

Ben Medansky x Koio trainers on Island Atelier

This collaboration between Ben Medansky and New York shoe brand Koio is the perfect study in minimalist symbiosis. Based in Los Angeles, Medansky is known for his ceramics which feature speckled glazes, geometric clusters and repetition of angular shapes with touches of "Yves Klein blue". These inspirations were incorporated into the design of the sneakers in several clever ways: the bright blue of the sole is offset by the blindly white speckled leather uppers, both of which harken back to Medansky’s ceramic works. The addition of a ceramic accent on the laces was the perfect touch to tie (no pun intended) everything together. The use of this natural material, which the designer has termed "shoellery" as it forms jewellery for the shoe, into the overall design is an unusual but beautifully executed detail.

The T-shirt shirt by Balenciaga

It's taken us almost a decade to find something to top the trend for mens' leggings or "meggings" we wrote about in 2009, but the wait has been worth it.

As part of their upcoming Autumn 2018 collection, Balenciaga have designed the most ridiculous garment we've seen in a very long time. Basically doing what it says on the tin, the T-shirt Shirt is a t-shirt with a long-sleeved shirt affixed to the front. And it doesn't come cheap to look this special; the T-shirt Shirt will retail for a mere $1,290.

Fuck You suit by David August

He may not be making the best life-choices at the moment but there is no doubt he takes his fashion seriously. We've been meaning to feature the amazing suit Conor McGregor wore in the run up to his match with Floyd Mayweather last year for a while. The impeccably fitted, custom pinstriped suit had a secret message for his opponent and was the perfect combination of his showman bluster and sartorial style. Designed by David August, the suit features vertical stripes that repeat the words "Fuck You" and features details like French facing construction stacked buttons, purple camouflage silk lining, and hand-stitched detailing. Each suit is numbered and signed by the CEO.

IGUANAEYE Jungle shoes

With all of the negative press jungles and fashion have received recently, lets's shine a more positive light on them by featuring these ergonomic shoes from designer Olivier Taco for IGUANEYE, a small company based in Oporto, Portugal.

Back in 2011 we featured the 01M OneMoment shoes that were inspired by Amazonian tribes who dipped their feet in latex and it looks like the idea has not yet gone away. Now in 2018, the latest iteration of the trend however includes specialised materials and 3D printing. Called the Jungle, the shoes assemble like a puzzle and mould to the foot thereby allowing the wearer to traverse all types of terrain with ease and in comfort. The minimalist footwear is made from Duraform and Duraform TPU and consists of a contiguous piece that wraps around the big toe and the heel leaving the rest of the foot exposed. A thick sole ensures the wearer's comfort.

The Jungle comes in two versions: the light and the lux.

Green Jijibaba Sweater

Jijibaba is a first time a brand created by furniture designers Jasper Morrison and Jaime Hayon.

We're big fans of Hayon who is a prolific sculptor and designer, and whose work blurs the lines between art and design. His creations span diverse media and can be found not only in hotels, restaurants and retail establishments, but also in art exhibitions and museum collections around the world. Conversely, Morrison looks to find the exceptional in the world of the ordinary. He is a firm believer that design should have an almost invisible presence in the end product and that an atmosphere of naturalness in things is more important than a designer’s signature. A very different ethos to Hayon's distinct style.

Jijibaba’s creative directors have split the task of designing the collection - which includes overcoats, shirts, jackets, trousers, t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, cardigans, scarves, and wallets - into two. Pieces numbered 1 to  21 have been designed by Hayon, while the remaining 19 items came from the mind of Morrison. The new line will be sold exclusively at Dover Street Market, London, New York, Ginza and Singapore, and reflects each designer's unique creative spirit and identity but uses ideas and approaches that emanate from the designers’ grounding in industrial design.

Jijibaba is intended to be an evolving collection of high quality and functional clothing created by a community of designers. Following the launch of these initial items, Morrison and Hayon will be responsible for selecting other designers to contribute to the collection in the future.

KAWS, Uniqlo, and Peanuts are back again with another highly anticipated collaboration. Out in the US today, November 20 and in the UK on November 24, the monochromatic collection consists of what Uniqlo does best: traditional street wear including crew-necked tee-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies in black and white but also includes bags and a completely black Snoopy plush in two sizes that is sure to be one of the most coveted pieces. Part of Uniqlo’s LifeWear concept which reimagines various pop culture icons, the limited colourway gives the collection a certain gravitas as the line is designed to appeal to as wide an audience as possible. In keeping with Uniqlo's moderate price range, items will retail between $10 to $40.

Inspired by '70s New York, the collaboration between adidas originals x Italia Independent embraces both brands’ core values, carefully balancing innovation and tradition to create a modern range of sunglasses.

These Converse Chuck '70 High Tops were designed in collaboration with Grotesk. Featuring simple graphic characters in blue on white and white on blue, the shoes can be completely customised from the stripe to the sole to the laces.
