Wallpaper design studio NLXL has launched a range of cane wallpapers that reinterpret the tradition of cane weaving in a new and modern way.
The studio, in conjunction with Roderick Vos, developed the line of wallpaper after a project to create wainscoting evolved. While woven cane is one of the oldest techniques used in furniture manufacturing, here high resolution scans create the appearance of cane webbing without the bulkiness or weight. The wallpaper collection can be combined with four wainscoting designs.
