Sophisticated sportswear, sloping shoulders and gentle feminine touches were all the rage at Jil Sander.
Designers Lucie and Luke Meier showed tiered dresses, belted coats, and leather suit separates in a fairly limited colour palette of cream, black and navy. Texture was used to add interest and showed up in a form of quilting, silk fringing, chenille knits, pleats and monochromatic beading. Overall the collection was fairly pared back and minimalist but a floral motif appearing in the form of beading and as a splash of colour on tunic-like dresses.
