British-Bermudian artist Charlie Godet Thomas takes a diverse approach to his art with pieces that intersect between the disciplines of writing, painting, sculpture, assemblage, photography, sound and video.
Based in Mexico, Godet Thomas' work is concerned with the connections between visual art and literature, the act of writing, the autobiographical, the tragic and the humorous and his inspiration is summoned from such unlikely places such as bookbinding processes, street signage, funereal foam letters and pharmaceutical packaging.
