TIPTOE design and Yves Klein Archives have once again joined forces once again to create a colour-saturated, limited-edition (natch) collection of TIPTOE's most popular objects drenched in the iconic International Klein Blue®.

Yves Klein, a major artist of the 20th century, created an ultramarine blue which he adopted as a vehicle for his quest for the immaterial and the infinite and which he used in many of his works, most notably his monochromes. Called International Klein Blue® or IKB for short, the colour is of such incomparable intensity it was once described as “the most perfect expression of blue”.

Since its inception in 2015, TIPTOE has made a mark on French design by creating classic pieces. The studio is a pioneer in environmental responsibility in the furniture industry, and made a name for itself by developing its bold and innovative clamp-on table legs. The collection includes the table legs, the LOU stool, the SSD chair, a wall bracket, coffee table and bench.

Yves Klein Archives' mission is to protect and promote the artist’s work. They worked in close collaboration with TIPTOE to create two formulas of the blue that are true to the original - one for wood and one for steel - ensuring they were identical so that the materials would blend perfectly. The result is a collection that, like International Klein Blue® itself, is bold, timeless, and full of personality.
