Image: Help
Help is a simple, but effective, idea.  Each tin includes pre-packaged remedies all of which are made with a single active ingredient and  the least possible amount of coatings and dyes.  Even the packaging is environmentally-friendly being made of paper pulp and a cornstarch-based plastic.  Each product is titled after the specific symptom it is meant to solve to assist diagnosis and treatment.

To commemorate the upcoming Fall 2012 fashion weeks (New York kicked off today),  Miu Miu will release a limited-edition collection of new handbags in each of the headlining capitals: New York, London, Milan and Paris. The bags are handmade and while they have the same shape, they are finished in different materials such as crocodile, ostrich and python combined with sparkly lurex jacquard, brocade and other embellishments.

Have a look at more of the bags after the jump.

I have always thought what we call chicken wire had a lot of design potential, and it looks like I was right.  Nendo appear to have recognised this and have created a series of objects for the Carpenters Workshop Gallery using what they've termed "agricultural nets".  Called the Farming-net Collection, the sculptural objects are made by forming the nets using heat.  As the nets are more flexible than wire mesh, they were able to get around the need to use a separate form to make the structure, so what you see is what you get.
I love the simple and elegant lines of this earring and necklace set from local designer Alexandra Mosher which are handmade from Sterling silver.  See more of Alexandra's work here.

A big gold star for Nellystella, a line of children's clothes I recently came across which is full of great subtle colours and girly details.  Can't wait to see what they have lined up for Spring|Summer 2012.

See more of their Fall |Winter 2011 line after the jump.
I'm loving these brightly coloured necklaces from London-based fashion and jewelry designer Blandine Bardeau.  Talk about your pop of colour... See more after the jump.

I really like this coffee tin designed by Finnish illustrator, graphic designer and artist Pietari Posti for Paulig.

Designed for children but appealing to adults too, Tobbles Stacking Spheres were another toy I came across before Christmas.  Intended to stimulate several senses including sight and touch, the dual-textured surface of each sphere invite you to spin, stack and balance the pieces.  Good for encouraging sensory exploration, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and visual spatial awareness, Tobbles is a dynamic toy with endless possibilities.
