Architect Kengo Kuma - one of the most significant figures in contemporary Japanese architecture and who is responsible for creating the Tokyo National Stadium, the main venue for the 2020 Olympics - has created a playful and interactive building set that takes advantage of the structural strength of the triangle. Each piece is crafted from Japanese cedar and has notches cut into the tip which allows them to be stacked in various ways. The set is intended to inspire children to be architects although they look like they'd be fun to play with at any age.
