The simple, graphic Smile Stool designed by Jaime Hayon for Benchmark is a joyful and expressive piece.
Often it's the smallest things that create the biggest impact. The stool is made of cherry wood with hand-turned legs two of which pass-through the seat to form the eyes using traditional expressed-through tenon joints. The curved profile of the underside of the seat invites touch and the smiling mouth actually doubles as the stool’s carrying handle.
