Venerable British retailer Marks & Spencer have announced their second collaboration with London-based artist Yinka Ilori.

Ilori worked at Marks & Spencer for about eight years while doing his degree and, when approached to do the collaboration, thought it would be a good way to celebrate both his history with the company as well as what it means to be a British-Nigerian living in London today.

The collection was based around the concept of manifesting one’s desires and the artwork celebrates Ilori’s  commute by bus from home and secondary school to work so he could build his future practice.

The reusable tote bags are available in two styles and are made out of 99% recycled materials. Covered in the designer’s instantly recognisable, colourful and hyper-patterned style, the bags are now available in store.
