How about this for a retrospective?  Back in early 2004, Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art brought the public art trend of life-sized animal statues (which was quite popular at the time) to Bermuda and invited members of the public and artists to design their version of one of Bermuda's first occupants, the wild pig or 'hogge'.  Happily, my design was one of those which was accepted for the Hogge Wilde project and I had real fun coming up with and executing this lighthearted concept.  Much of the art that was made was pretty creative given the brief.

The finished statues were put on show at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess and auctioned for charity.  Some of the pigs can still be seen on display but over the years many have unfortunately disappeared.  The Hogges were followed up less successfully a few years later with onion "chairs", but the pigs will always have a fond place in my heart.  I wish they would do it again.
