One of the more exciting shows thus far comes from BCBG Max Azria. Body harnesses from leather over- or under-laid with silk chiffon and lace created a modern silhouette that was a beautiful juxtaposition of hard and soft. This deceptively simple recurring geometric motif unified the collection and while instantly recognisable, was flexible enough to allow subtle variations on the theme thereby avoiding the problem of repetition or monotony.
