To honour the 50th anniversary of Hans J. Wegner's iconic Shell Chair, Carl Hansen & Son have teamed with Maharam to release twenty special editions of the chair, each covered with a different Maharam textile and with a co-ordinating wood frame. The fabrics used include homespun wool, re-commissioned designs of the Wiener Werkstätte and Alexander Girard and newer collaborations with Hella Jongerius and Paul Smith.
