The last of Moncler’s collections to be featured here comes from Simone Rocha. If anyone can make padded winter outerwear light and feminine, it is this designer who put her pretty spin on the clothes by downplaying their practicality and emphasising the structure and form. There was a certain Oriental feel to the collection which was helped by the models’ ethnicity, the Mount Fuji-like background and the pretty, spring-like flowers that were reminiscent of Japanese cherry blossoms. Feminine frills adorned the dresses and coats some of which were in the palest, most balletic pinks and white. Even the sunglasses, bags and gloves were bordered with flowers.
