This unusual fashion line by Budapest-based design company IVANKA called Concrete Genezis is based on the versatile nature of concrete. The idea for the line came to co-founders Katalin and Andras Ivanka during a photo shoot in which they wore clothing that had been dipped in concrete and then allowed to dry.
The clothes of Concrete Genezis are merely made of a new textile that mimics the look of the industrial material and as a result present a rather drab collection. Some of the other designs do consist of a merger between actual concrete and genuine leather and these are more effective than the faux pieces.
